'Ubiquity' | Our 60th Anniversary Runway Presentation for Australian Fashion Week

On May 12, 2025, we proudly unveiled Ubiquity, our 60th anniversary runway show on the forecourt of Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art. This event marked not only the opening of Australian Fashion Week 2025 but also a heartfelt tribute to Carla Zampatti’s enduring legacy and the women who have embraced her vision over six transformative decades.

A Legacy Reimagined

Ubiquity was conceived as both a celebration and a declaration: a celebration of the timeless elegance that defines our brand, and a declaration of our commitment to innovation and the future of Australian fashion. Under the creative direction of Tanya Emon Beattie, the collection honoured Carla’s signature silhouettes, sharp tailoring, sensual draping, and bold colour palettes, while introducing contemporary elements that resonate with today’s woman. The 60-look collection featured cropped jackets, feather-trimmed coats, and languid gowns in hues of black, white, classic CZ red, bronze, and muted tones, embodying a modern yet timeless aesthetic.

A Collaborative Tribute

In a gesture reflecting Carla’s influence on the Australian fashion industry, we invited 14 of the nation’s leading designers to contribute unique pieces inspired by her legacy. Designers such as Toni Maticevski, Christopher Esber, Romance Was Born, and Akira Isogawa reinterpreted Zampatti’s design ethos through their own creative lenses. These collaborative pieces will be donated to the Powerhouse Museum, further cementing Carla’s indelible mark on Australian fashion history.
